I moved to Tha Sala in March 2007 and have spent time since then slowly discovering what Nakhon has to offer. And as there was not a lot of information out there to help, it seemed obvious to try to fill the gap.

This site has been in development since March 2008 and I add new places to it as and when I discover them, though there are always plenty more waiting to be listed. No one pays to be featured, and I try to be fair and impartial in every review that I write. Though I nearly always tend to find something positive to say and it's rare that I find I have to write a bad review. The footer says that all reviews are only my personal opinion and others may well disagree with my perceptions, though I try to be factually accurate wherever possible whilst accepting that prices, opening hours and most other things can and do change.

The site itself is written using a simple PHP/MySQL CMS custom written by me to help to manage the site more easily. This was a major update early in 2011 when I realised I hadn't updated the site for a while. I prefered my old Flash-based map to the current Google map, but it was a lot more difficult to maintain so I made the change.

Photos are all mine, except a few that I have permission to use, and can be reproduced but please contact me first to request permission, and then I will send you the original.
