Grand Park, Hotel, Meuang Nakhon
This hotel is around the middle of the price range in Nakhon Town, but it looks better than the price implies. The rooms are all very similar, differing only from having twin beds or one double bed (referred to as a single), and whether they are located in the newer wing of the hotel, or the older one. There are about 160 rooms in all with views over the town, and all rooms have TV and fridge, private bathroom with shower and hot water, and are big enough without being overly spacious. They're clean and well maintained, but being a concrete hotel, it is rather characterless.
The restaurant is open pretty much all day, with breakfasts around 80-100 baht, and a main menu offering Thai dishes such as chicken with cashew nuts, beef with ginger and sweet and sour fish as well as some western food and sandwiches. There are some specials such as deep fried sea bass with mango around 150-200, whereas the simpler meals are around 120 baht, and one plate 'on rice' meals around 80-90. Overall there is plenty of choice as well as fresh fruit or ice-cream for dessert.
The location is pretty good, being just a few minutes walk from Tha Wang junction and Bavorn Bazaar, and there are one or two restaurants on the same road with a night-market towards the eastern end. There's a free WiFi access point in the lobby too, which a lot of people look for nowadays.
Overall, if you want to be in a central hotel at a good price, this one is worth considering.
