About 1km north out of town will lead you to this restaurant offering the slightly bizarre mix of Isaan food and 1970s easy listening and country music. If you've been desparately searching for a place where you can eat your som dtam while listening to Tie A Yellow Ribbon, or Puff the Magic Dragon, then now you've found it. The menu has the usual Isaan fare of som dtams, yams, laabs, and grills, but there's a few specials on the board everyday and often something a little unusual appears. The onwer's most popular meal is yam pak groot, featuring a local vegetable that's not widely available, and duck laab. Get an order of sticky rice as well, and you're good to go.
NB: Presence of local characters not guaranteed :-)
