This is situated about 1km south from the beach and the nightlife at the main
Nai Plao Beach drag, which makes for a quieter environment and a laid back feel. This is also helped by the style and positioning of these bungalows as they look like they're meant to be cosy - each one has a bamboo veradah with an axe cushion to lay back on, all of them are positioned around a central garden and face away from the road, and three of them are set alongside a small stream and have views of the forest on the other side. Get some beers in, a few candles and a bit of good company and you could be set for a very pleasant night. And there's a small bar on site with some tables and chairs, though it's a bit 'bar with bamboo tables and chairs on a concrete verandah' and it needs some chilled decoration. That said, it is a new resort, so it'll mature with time, which also goes for the garden which looks nice but will look nicer once it's developed a bit more.
But for those with simple tastes, the bungalows are great. Just a mattress on the bamboo floor, a mosquito net and fan, a private bathroom and one of the cheapest prices for a room on this side of Khanom. Definitely worth a look if you're in the area.
