This hotel sits almost centrally on Nai Plao beach, with the main hotel block being about 100 metres back from the beach, with the restaurant, pool and a double row of bungalows sitting on the beach itself.

The front rooms have been recently renovated and are a little nicer inside, with a big double bed rather than twin beds, the aircon unit is better quality, and the view of the beach is completely clear. But the second row bungalows are more than adequate for 800 baht less each night, and the solid construction should not make noise from the beach road a paroblem at night.

The pool sits at the end of the rows of bungalows, and the outside restaurant and bar immediately to the side of that, so bungalows nearest the pool might be good for convenience, but there's a slim chance of evening noise from the bar. Not that this is the sort of hotel to have techno parties until dawn, so you can't really go far wrong.

A good choice in this price range for Khanom.
