This resort is about halfway down the Nah Daan Beach Road, with 42 newly built bungalows around landscaped gardens just off the beach, a swimming pool, and a covered restaurant with a beachside verandah.
Inside the restaurant has a comfortable feel with heavy wooden chairs and table-top games to play, but once the sun has passed behind the trees to provide a little shade, the verandah offers the best view of the long, empty beach. The menu is relatively small but the usual Thai stir fries and curries are a second choice after to the 'by-weight' fresh fish and seafood. The resort owner is rumoured to get some of the best fish coming into Khanom, so it is well worth trying some while you are here, especially the house recommended bplah looey suan (fish with cashew nuts and lemongrass) accompanied by the yam takrai (spicy salad with lemongrass).
With the recent development of the resort, the place does have a 'new' feel, which should mellow once the gardens mature a little. The bungalows are pleasant enough and are a bit different than some of the usual styles seen around Thailand, but again they might benefit from aging a little and becoming a bit weathered.
