There are a few features around this small park, or field if you prefer, particularly the old city wall runs along it's south perimeter which is also the location of a couple of large statues of King Rama V and King Seetamasokarat, with the latter being on the other side of the concrete bridge near the city wall. There's a series of food stalls at the north end, most notably the
khanom jeen stall which has to be the cheapest around, but there's lots of other vendors if spicy noodles aren't quite to your taste. The local
TAT office is off the north-west corner of the park and the
city pillar shrine is just across the road too.
Otherwise this is the place where people come to fly kites, to sit on the grass and eat, or to have a walk or a jog around the perimeter in the evening, or maybe to join in the public low-impact aerobics workout that gets going about 6pm.
