Local goods, souvenirs and clothing
The OTOP shop is part of the 'One Tambon, One Product' project which encourages local areas (tambons) to market and sell its produce, and is located behind the TAT Office on Sanam Nah Meuang in a old, traditional Thai wooden house. It offers little souvenirs of Nakhon, sweets, herbs and lotions, but has a wide range of hand-woven cloth for sale, which you can see being woven on site, and can make garments to fit. There's a wide range of ready-made clothing too, including scarves, shawls and blankets. Intricate woven baskets in all shapes, sizes and colours are also available in one of the little rooms off to the side.

Tha Chang road is also the location where locally produced jewellery is made, with silver being a particular speciality, and nielloware (black lacquer-work) also being popular.

And if you are wondering about the picture of the pot-bellied man pointing, he's one of the characters from the nang dtalung shadow puppet shows and he appears a lot around Nakhon in various forms.
