With a couple of resorts at one end and one at the other, and a few small restaurants in between, this beach can make a welcome change from the over-developed, but maybe prettier, white-sand beaches elsewhere in the country. Facing due east it sees a nice sunrise and will get direct sun all morning, but there are lots of trees to cool things down after midday and the resorts have chairs with umbrellas or awnings for shade. The Krua Poy Beach Resort has plans to offer more watersports which might see the addition of jetskis or powerboats on the scene, but for now it's very, very quiet.
