Currently this is the largest resort on Hin Ngaam beach, with about 25 bungalows altogether, and at the time of the review a number of new ones were being built. The rooms themselves are nicely laid out, all with balconies and most with a clear sea view, or of the pleasantly cultivated gardens at the centre of the resort. That said, the new bungalows are being built on this garden so it remains to be seen if that changes the feel of the place.
The restaurant is a lovely, wooden, octagonal affair right on the beach, with a few tables available on the beach itself, and it offers an extensive menu with lots of choice. It's especially suitable for foreigners who prefer their food to be a little westernised as there are a number of cream or wine sauce versions of Thai dishes, as well as full-strength Thai dishes for those who enjoy the stronger tastes and spiciness! As well as breakfasts and lots of choice around the 80 baht range, there are plenty of fresh seafood on offer at the expensive end of the menu, and a few specials only in Thai on the otherwise English menu.
A comfortable resort with a relaxed feel, which hopefully won't be affected when the new bungalows are finished.
NB: There are now 35 bungalows and the new prices are shown above. It's definitely time to go back here so I can rewrite the review.
